The AIHR consortium is a network of human resources (HR) departments and personnel with the objective of solving issues surrounding the use of AI in HR. Through a series of action learning workshops and commissioned work, companies will share resources to explore the following:
- How AI can work across international boundaries, and be applied to people with varying disabilities.
- What steps are required when onboarding AI into HR processes to maximise benefits.
- Which kitemarks, testing and standards are needed so that expertise and tools can be trusted, and HR experts can have an input into the emerging regulations in this area.
The agenda for the work is set by the members of the consortium for their benefit and companies are invited to join us. Work is led by Nicola Strong, an expert at the Social Interaction of AI systems, Anton Fishman, Business Advisor on the impact of AI and emergent technologies in HR, and Megan Butler, Senior Research Adviser and AI expert for CIPD.
The government funding underpinning this work comes from Research England, part of UK Research and Innovation. Oxfordshire is one of the world’s leading clusters of AI and Data Technology companies, with researchers developing products and services for the professional services sector. The Institute employs a team of AI and data specialists with access to over 70 social scientists, AI researchers and consultants.
